Location!
A Walker's paradise
The South West Way
We are situated on one of the more remote locations of the SouthWest Way and walking in either direction is simply stunning. This unrivalled scenery has inspired poets, authors and artists for many generations, from the artists of the Newlyn School to those of today. Described by authors such as Derek Tangye, Mary Wesley and Rosamunde Pilcher, to name but a few.
A walk to the east will take you to Lamorna and then Mousehole
In the opposite direction is Penberth (where Poldark was filmed) and then Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre.
A walk inland through the woods and across the fields takes you to the village of St Buryan where there is a church, shop and pub.

Some of the most spectacular beaches in Cornwall are within a short driving distance of the cottage. Fabulous Porthcurno with the Minack Theatre and Sennen with its great surfing beach and café.
Not Just for Summer
